Hey {{first_name}}
The heating is on, the air is dry, and my inbox is filling up with the same message every October:
"My skin feels tight by lunchtime and no cream fixes it."
Last week we talked about why. After 45, less oestrogen means less collagen and less moisture in the deeper layers of your skin. And your skin is the last organ in the queue for water. If there isn't enough to go round, it's where you see it first.
So this week I'm keeping it short and practical: one simple habit, two drinks a day.
The habit
1. Morning: before your first coffee, have something warm that isn't coffee. A matcha works well. It's gentler on an empty stomach and you get a slower lift instead of a spike.
2. Mid-afternoon: instead of the 3pm coffee, a tall glass of water with electrolytes. The minerals help your body hold on to the water instead of sending it straight through you.
That's it. Two drinks you'd have anyway, swapped for two that work for you.
In the hydration study I shared last week, the women who drank the least at the start saw the biggest improvement in skin hydration once they drank more, and it showed up by about day 15. If you're a "coffee, tea, forget water until dinner" person, you have the most to gain.
This week's partner makes it easy
The hard part of any habit is actually doing it. This week's partner, Pique, puts both drinks in one routine: a matcha for the morning and a beauty electrolyte for the afternoon.

Try it for 15 days
Whether you use Pique or your own matcha and a pinch of minerals in your water, here's my challenge: do the two-drink habit every day for 15 days. Then look in the mirror around lunchtime and notice how your skin feels.
Hit reply on day 15 and tell me what changed. I read every reply.

P.S. If the afternoon water is where you always fall down, that's the drink to start with. The Pique offer above is an easy way to make it a habit.
